I totally keep forgetting to update our blog...life's been crazy, I guess!
Okay, so Chris graduated from MMI on 12/14/07! Praise the Lord! :)
We took our time, got through Christmas (btw...the children got enough toys and things to cover next Christmas too! LOL). Chris spent a week up in Wisconsin meeting with the big boys and looking at housing with his mom. It was a good time well spent up there..I wish we could have gone along, but it wouldn't have made any sense. After much prayer, after much conversation and weighing our options, we've finally set our move date.
3/12/2008 is the day we'll head out of the desert and head for the place that just got 9 feet of snow dumped on it! WHAT ARE WE THINKING! LOL
I've got so much to do, it's unreal. I've already filled up our outside garbage can that the garbage man picks up and it still doesn't look like I've made a DENT in decluttering! The toys! Oh, the toys!
Kyle is so sad...Emma doens't seem to quite care either way. She just wants to see the kittens at my Mom and Dad's. I'm going to have a little party for Kyle and his buddies to hang out and play and watch movies and stuff and hope that eases his pain a bit. It's going to be a huge year of changes for him since he embarks on Kindergarten in the fall. I'm a bit heavyhearted over that. :( On a side note, he's doing great at beginning reading and writing! It's awesome! He's such a great kid and I am so blessed to have been able to be with him these 5 years at home and teaching him. We've been homeschooling a bit until we get settled and he's doing great. I have full confidence that he'll be ready for Kindy in the fall..we just need to work on tying his shoes!
Update on Emma..she's smart as a whip...she just knows way too much and I have to stay three steps ahead of her! We've gone through 3 DOZEN EGGS this week..she thinks that they are her babies! I am super excited that Easter is around the corner because then I can buy her bags and bags of plastic eggs and MAYBE SHE'LL LEAVE MINE ALONE! LOL! She's becoming increasingly more independent and is all girl..but can sure hold her own!
Well, I've got a ton more stuff to do before the day ends. But, just know that in a few short weeks, those of you that are in the midwest..we'll be MUCH closer and I hope to see some of you on Easter!!!!!!!!
Love to all,
Tanya
